Field Day will be June 28 and 28, 2025.
Hi Everyone,
We’re all going to be doing Field Day for real! We plan our usual setup at the SouthBridge Community Church as we have done in the past.
Setup begins at 8:00 am – we need your help! We then have lunch and at 1 pm we get on the air!
We need several coolers, several cases of water, lots of soda pop to keep the troops hydrated. The club will reimburse you for the water. You can’t bring too much.
We will have a GOTA (Get On The Air) station set up for you who have not been on HF or worked in a contest before. There are lots of us around to help you make your contacts. We will use Jim Riley call, W9JPR, for the GOTA call sign. Nice and easy call! We hope to have the club’s FlexRadio 5000 SDR again this year. It is a fun radio to use.
The location is Southbridge Church, one block West of Harlem on 155th St., or if you prefer, Wheeler Drive.
